This prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial evaluates whether preoperative intravenous dexmedetomidine or tramadol reduces perioperative anxiety compared with placebo in patients undergoing elective hemorrhoidectomy under saddle spinal anesthesia.
