Advancing the Pediatric to Adult Continuum in IBS-C: Evidence-Based Treatment and Transitions of Care is a continuing medical education (CME) activity designed for US-based pediatric and adult gastroenterologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, GI nursing professionals, transition coordinators, and behavioral health specialists involved in the care of patients with IBS-C. This activity focuses on applying evidence-based approaches to the selection, initiation, dosing, and monitoring of newly approved and emerging therapeutic agents in pediatric patients aged 7 to 17 years, including effective management of adverse effects. In addition, it will provide learners with a structured framework to support safe and effective transition of adolescents with IBS-C to adult care, emphasizing readiness assessment, care coordination, and continuity of medication therapy to optimize long-term patient outcomes.
