Vale Foot and Ankle Surgery, PLLC is an established four location private podiatry group practice, all of which are busy. Our flagship office is in Oxford, Connecticut, the second location is in Glastonbury, the third is in Shelton, and, as of 2024, we expanded to our fourth location in Newtown. The new associate would be entering the Shelton office, which has an established patient base. The company will fully fund all advertising for our new associate.

We have a wonderful relationship with the local community hospital, The Griffin Hospital, and the Comprehensive Wound Healing Center within. It is not required to hold hours at the Wound Center, but it is an option. Our doctors also take call at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury. Taking call at Griffin Hospital in Derby and St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury is required of our new associate.

We require that the associate be either Board Eligible or Board Certified with ABFAS. It is a requirement to have strong surgical training and be comfortable with all surgical procedures on the foot and ankle, including the use of external fixation systems. We would prefer our associate to have a working understanding of true minimally invasive procedures, as well as the minimally invasive bunion procedure. We do specialize in minimally invasive surgery and we have patients coming to us from around the state (and even from other states!) asking for this procedure.

We prefer our new associate to have experience in another private office, since the new associate would be the only podiatrist in their location, which provides autonomy. Therefore, practice management experience is preferred.
