If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, value teamwork, and take pride in providing high-quality care, we would love to hear from you.What You'll DoPre-Operative CareConduct pre-surgical assessments and patient interviews Review charts to ensure all required testing, labs, and documentation are complete Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery expectations Coordinate with physician offices, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to ensure surgical readiness Serve as a clinical resource and support smooth daily patient flow Post-Anesthesia Care (PACU)Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures Perform comprehensive assessments and closely monitor airway, cardiac, and hemodynamic status Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure safe recovery and discharge Provide discharge teaching and support to patients and their caregivers Why Join District Surgery Center?Monday-Friday schedule No overnight shifts Team-oriented and supportive culture State-of-the-art ambulatory surgery environment Meaningful patient interactions and continuity of care Opportunity to utilize a broad range of clinical skills Commitment to quality, safety, and exceptional patient outcomes Competitive compensation and benefits package QualificationsCurrent Maryland RN license or Compact RN license BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience preferred Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork The Ideal CandidateYou are a highly organized, dependable RN who remains calm under pressure and enjoys being part of a collaborative surgical team.
